While more widely known for her work as an actress, singer, songwriter, and pianist Alicia Witt has been performing songs since the beginning of her career in the screen. In 2009, after mostly playing piano, she released her eponymous album, which highlighted Alicia Witt's obvious due towards Elton John, Billy Joel as well as other artists, and a warm, strong voice. Revisionary History (produced by Ben Folds) was her first studio album in the year 2015. The Conduit, her debut album with co-producers in 2021 was followed by Revisionary Historical. Alicia Witt first appeared onscreen in 1984 when she played Alia Atreides, a character in David Lynch's adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. She was a pianist the piano before beginning acting is no wonder she became pigeonholed in her early years as a performer. While she appeared on screen more but her profession as a musician did not start until the year 1995.
